About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric/Family Provider to join our healthcare team. This role offers flexible scheduling with hours from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday-1 week of call every 3-4 months. In this position, you will provide care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting and utilize telemedicine as needed. Also, available 4 hour shifts.
Working just 4 days per week qualifies you for full benefits, with a competitive salary ranging from $225,000 to $300,000 annually, based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Active California License (Required)
- Board-certified Pediatric/Family MD/DO General Pediatrician OR Family Practitioner
- EHR Experience Required
- New grads welcome
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both children and parents
- Loan repayment
Key Responsibilities:
- Needs to see 25 to 30 patients per day, 1 week of call every 3-4 months.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic pediatric illnesses
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments in accordance with patient care plans
- Perform comprehensive physical exams for pediatric patients and assess their health
- Develop and implement pediatric patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to specialists and medical facilities as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate parents and families on child health, wellness, and preventive care
