About the Role:
Warehouse crew is responsible for maintaining the company's quality standards of select inventory. Day to day tasks will consist of pulling, prepping, and staging outbound inventory as well as prepping, labeling and restocking of returning inventory. Any issues that are discovered with inventory should be reported to the department lead.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading activities.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing orders: Quality Control, Preparing Inventory, and Staging Inventory
- Clean, Touch Up, Wrap, Spot Treat and Launder items in assigned areas
- Review ways to better maintain quality control, safety issues, and general inventory with management.
- Report damaged or missing items to lead (furniture pieces, i.e. sofa legs)
- Restock & maintain chairs, sofas, pillows, lighting, umbrellas, rugs, and any repaired and completed inventory back to warehouse shelving.
- Assist in Weekly Inventory Counts
- Maintain positive employee relations, open communication and problem solving while working with fellow employees.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with administrative staff and ownership.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and secure per standards and systems.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned, including loading or unloading trucks, and pulling and returning inventory to staging zones.
Days: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with ability to work overtime and some weekends if needed.
