Senior Accountant
Newport Beach, CA (Onsite)
90,000 - 100,000/yr + Bonus
Publicly Traded Company | Approx. $1B Revenue

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting a publicly traded organization. This position offers excellent exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and operational accounting within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
- Support annual audits and prepare audit schedules.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Assist with special projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Public accounting and/or public company experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred.
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
