Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 / hour (+ 10% Shift Differential for Swing Shift)

We are currently seeking meticulous and driven Quality Control (QC) Inspectors to fill open roles with one of our premier electronics manufacturing clients in Milpitas.
The Role: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be on the front lines of the production floor, ensuring that all electronic assemblies and components meet strict ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 standards. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, operate inspection equipment, and prevent defects before products ship.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of PCBAs and complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Defect Identification: Utilize microscopes, calipers, gauges, and automated inspection tools to identify soldering defects, missing components, or workmanship issues.
- Documentation: Accurately document inspection results and maintain non-conforming material reports (MRB).
- Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to IPC-A-610, ESD, and quality management system guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with Production Supervisors and Quality Engineers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. [1, 2]
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active IPC-A-610 Certification is strictly required.
- Experience: 1–3 years of QA/QC inspection experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (EMS/PCBA).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent visual acuity and ability to spot microscopic defects.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Experience: 1–3 years of QA/QC inspection or advanced solder inspection experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (EMS/PCBA).
