Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area, ensuring all materials and equipment are stored properly.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading materials, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of the yard to identify and address any safety hazards.
- Operate yard equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Perform routine maintenance on yard equipment and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
