Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an engaging educational environment supporting speech-language pathologists at a high or junior high school in the Simi Valley area. This contract opportunity is ideal for a talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking hands-on experience throughout the school year. Beginning August 11th and continuing through June 3rd, you'll work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for helping students succeed and will thrive in a collaborative school setting. In this supportive role, you'll work closely with experienced SLPs, implementing treatment plans and encouraging student growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited SLPA program with current licensure/credentials as required
  • Experience in school settings supporting students with diverse communication needs highly valued
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow SLP guidance
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with SLP-CCC standards and school-based practices is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language interventions as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Support students in both individual and small group settings within the high or junior high school environment
  • Gather and document data on student progress
  • Assist in developing instructional materials tailored to students' needs
  • Contribute positively to an inclusive, supportive school culture
