Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers in San Francisco, California through a Contract position focused on responsive, high-quality service. In this role, you will help individuals navigate questions and application-related needs with accuracy, patience, and professionalism. The ideal candidate brings a steady call center presence, communicates clearly, and contributes to a smooth customer experience by resolving inquiries efficiently and thoroughly.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions with a helpful, solution-focused approach that makes each caller feel supported throughout the conversation.
• Provide clear guidance on forms, requests, and next steps so customers receive accurate information and can move forward without unnecessary delays.
• Complete order entry and related updates carefully, ensuring information is entered correctly the first time whenever possible.
• Monitor open or incomplete items and take timely follow-up actions to reduce stalled applications or unresolved customer issues.
• Maintain dependable attendance and remain available during assigned queue coverage hours to support service levels and response times.
• Respond constructively to coaching and performance feedback, applying direction quickly to improve call quality and consistency.
• Document customer conversations and outcomes thoroughly so records remain current, organized, and useful for follow-up activity.• Experience in call center customer service or a similar high-volume customer support environment.
• Strong ability to manage inbound calls while delivering courteous, detail-oriented, and efficient service.
• Comfortable making outbound calls when follow-up or issue resolution is required.
• Background in order entry, data input, or maintaining accurate customer records.
• Clear verbal communication skills with the ability to explain processes in a simple and reassuring manner.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to remain engaged and productive during scheduled working hours.
• Willingness to accept feedback, adjust quickly, and maintain performance standards in a team-oriented setting.
