A/R Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function for our Construction, Plumbing, and Restoration divisions.
- Communicate with Customers for PO/WTN numbers
- Enter Invoices in portals for payments
- Manage customer accounts, including tracking outstanding balances and ensuring timely payments
- Perform follow up procedures on all invoices with customers
- Update all job status of closed jobs in Quickbooks
- Complete vendor packets
- Request/send Insurance documentations and W9 for Customers
- Renew all Customer requests and paperwork
- Ensure all COI's meet customer requirements
- Research and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding invoices and payments
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on accounts receivable activity
- Participate in month-end closing procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers
To qualify, you should have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in NetSuite a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
