Seeking a new opportunity within a school district? Spindle proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Oakland, CA in search of a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team for the ongoing school year!
Special Education Teacher Job Description:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive materials to accommodate students' learning requirements and facilitate their progress towards educational goals.
• Caseload details: Mod/Severe Elementary. Both positions are K-2. This caseload is primarily Autism specific. Both positions have additional support at the school sites for collaboration. Caseload caps at 10 students with 2 Paras in each room. District uses TeachTown and TEACCH materials.
Special Requirements: MUST have active CA mod/severe credential
Pay & Benefits:
