- First Impressions: Warmly greet guests within seconds of their arrival and bid them farewell as they leave.
- Menu Provision: Hand out menus and inform guests of their assigned server or daily specials.
- Guest Inquiries: Answer phone calls and address questions regarding hours, the menu, and dietary restrictions.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle initial guest concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate to a manager when necessary. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Reservations & Seating Management
- Booking: Manage and confirm reservations, whether through phone, walk-ins, or digital platforms.
- Waitlists: Maintain an organized waitlist during busy hours and provide accurate, honest wait time estimates.
- Table Rotations: Strategically assign seating to ensure servers receive an even number of tables and maintain a steady flow of service.
- Special Needs: Accommodate guests requiring extra attention, such as large parties, families with children, or accessibility requirements
