This one-year surgical fellowship offers extensive hands-on experience, with the possibility of extending to two years based on the fellow's career goals and research interests. Participation in mission electives is highly encouraged.
Program Overview
Currently, our team consists of eight full-time fellowship-trained Head & Neck surgical oncologists, five of whom specialize in microvascular reconstruction. - Microvascular reconstructions
- TOLMS/TORS procedures
- Endoscopic skull base surgeries
- Open and craniofacial surgeries
- Advanced trauma interventions
- Complex skin cancer reconstructions
A balanced experience in both ablative and reconstructive surgery is essential, with the fellow's preferences guiding the specific case mix. The fellowship also encompasses thyroid and parathyroid surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques, re-operative procedures, and surgeries for non-localizing diseases.
