Job DescriptionDescriptionThe Document Drawer is an Intermediate level position within the Closing Department that is responsible for preparing all loan documents for closing. This role is eligible to work remotely or from our Santa Ana, CA office.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing loan file to verify all fields have been input correctly within Encompass
- Add funding conditions to ensure all outstanding items are assigned to be completed at funding
- Run and review mavent report to ensure accuracy and issue COCs as necessary.
- Ensure documents are issued to appropriate parties including the Escrow Agent, Broker and Account Manager
- Work with the Escrow Agent to complete any necessary corrections and rebalance the Final Closing Disclosure, as necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers and borrowers by providing timely communication, accurate loan status updates, and proactive resolution of inquiries.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience working within Encompass
- Knowledge preparing documents for dry, wet and attorney states
