Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned analysis to support case strategy
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
- Manage and maintain a caseload from intake through resolution
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and litigation strategy
- Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer legal counsel
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines, filing requirements, and procedural rules
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar (required)
- 0–3 years of experience as a practicing attorney preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
