American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute position requiring Epic EMR experience and a CA RN license, working night shifts at a hospital in the Marysville, CA area.

- Position is located in a 221-bed acute care hospital in the Marysville, CA area
- Med/Surg Acute unit caring for patients across a broad age range, including adult and geriatric populations
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements\n

- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required, with clinical work in the specialty within the last 3 months
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior hits on record required
- Two supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from within the past two years
- Skills checklist for Med/Surg completed within the past year required for consideration
- BSN preferred

- Responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care consistent with the medical plan of care for an assigned group of patients per shift
- Collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care delivery
- Incorporates patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
- Delegates appropriate aspects of care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and scope of practice
- Position is represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA)
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; requests exceeding this threshold will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior disciplinary action or restriction on their nursing license will not be considered
