Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-based speech services, including both push-in and pull-out models
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals for a diverse student population
- Skilled in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
- Strong organizational and communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for a caseload of 45-55 elementary-aged students
- Deliver services in accordance with IEP goals, blending sessions for general education and special day students
- Complete thorough and timely documentation, including progress reporting and compliance with state and federal mandates
- Screen, assess, and identify students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive, inclusive educational environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
