Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at an elementary school site near Beaumont, CA. This position offers a chance to make a direct, positive impact on the academic and social growth of children in both general education and special day class programs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience with school-based speech services, including both push-in and pull-out models
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals for a diverse student population
  • Skilled in conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and school teams

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy for a caseload of 45-55 elementary-aged students
  • Deliver services in accordance with IEP goals, blending sessions for general education and special day students
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation, including progress reporting and compliance with state and federal mandates
  • Screen, assess, and identify students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive, inclusive educational environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
