Take on a dynamic contract opportunity working with students aged 3-22 across K-12 settings, serving diverse needs from mild to severe. This position provides the chance to make a real impact, supporting student growth and participating in shaping educational outcomes in a variety of school environments. Multiple full-time openings are available, including two school year roles and one maternity leave coverage starting in August and projecting through March.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CA Occupational Therapy license required
  • Prior experience in the California school system
  • Proven proficiency administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students with multiple disabilities
  • Comfortable working independently in itinerant settings and adapting to fluctuating caseloads
  • Strong data-driven approach for supporting recommendations and addressing parent concerns
  • Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus, though not required
  • Capable of scheduling self-driven assessment, consultation, and intervention visits to align with district needs

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments, direct interventions, and consultations for students across assigned schools
  • Independently manage caseloads with varying volume and complexity
  • Administer standardized assessments (BOT-3, Peabody) to guide individualized educational planning
  • Monitor student progress and prepare data-informed reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate with education teams, service providers, and families while navigating a largely independent work environment
  • Adjust service delivery as needs change throughout the school year
