About the company
\n
A high-growth, venture-backed AI infrastructure company building the platform layer that lets large enterprises deploy, unify, and run AI in production. This is the company's flagship, highest-revenue unit.
\n
\n
About the role
\n
You'll run this business unit as its de-facto CEO, owning the full P&L and reporting directly to the founder/CEO. You'll set strategy, drive revenue, lead a small senior team, and own the technical product direction, the closest thing to running your own company without raising a dime.
\n
\n
What you'll own
\n
- \n
- Full P&L for the flagship platform business unit, the company's primary revenue engine
- A lean, senior team (~12–15) spanning product engineering, enterprise sales, and customer success
- Enterprise GTM strategy and the enterprise sales motion, personally leading and closing complex deals (~$250K+ ACV) as the business moves up-market into regulated Fortune 500 accounts
- Product roadmap and architecture direction, in partnership with principal engineers
- Enterprise customer relationships, on-prem/air-gapped deployments, and adoption/retention

Required - only apply if you meet these
\n
- \n
- Genuine technical background. You started as an engineer and/or were a technical founder/CTO. You can engage credibly on product architecture, technical roadmap, and with a developer audience. This is non-negotiable, purely commercial/GTM backgrounds are not a fit.
- You've operated independently. Former founder (raised ≥ a seed round or generated real revenue) or an engineer/technical-founder-turned-operator who has owned a P&L or business unit. Careers spent entirely inside large orgs are not a fit.
- AI / data infrastructure domain. Direct experience at an AI infra, data infra, MLOps, DevOps, or developer-platform company. Familiarity with Kubernetes / cloud-native, the modern data stack, and production AI/ML deployment.
- Enterprise revenue ownership. A track record of leading and closing enterprise deals and scaling a platform/SaaS business toward $10M+ ARR, with strong, recent (last 12–24 months) results.
- On-site in the SF Bay Area, 5 days a week. Hard requirement.
