What’s a typical day as Human Resources Assistant? You’ll be:
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Maintaining accurate HR records, performing data entry, and generating reports.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including wage and hour, benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace safety regulations.
- Addressing employee relations issues promptly and professionally.
- Assisting with payroll, benefits administration, and compensation reviews.
- Participating in HR audits, compliance activities, and internal initiatives such as training.
- Maintaining and communicating the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Overseeing timekeeping systems and ensuring wage and hour compliance.
- Partnering with safety and facilities teams to support workplace safety initiatives.
- Providing in-person HR support across all departments and performing other related duties as assigned.
