We need a dedicated Special Education Teacher with an ESN (Mod/Severe) certification to support an elementary classroom in Berkeley, California. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing individualized instruction and support to students with extensive support needs.
Position Details
- Elementary Extensive Support Needs (ESN) classroom
- Caseload of 11 students
- Full-time position (35.87 hours per week)
Requirements
- Active California Education Specialist Credential with Moderate/Severe (ESN) Authorization
- Experience working with students with extensive support needs preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, related service providers, and families
- Experience implementing individualized academic, behavioral, communication, and functional support strategies
