Express Employment Professionals of Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an experienced Laser / CNC Turret Operator for a metal fabrication company in Ontario, CA. This position requires hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or turret presses, including machine setup, blueprint reading, and producing metal parts to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a Bystronic laser cutting machine.
- Cut metal sheets according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
- Operate CNC turret presses or laser equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load programs, select materials, and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality.
- Monitor equipment during production and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience operating CNC turret presses or laser cutting machines is required.
- Experience setting up and running a Bystronic laser strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience cutting sheet metal to precise specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet production requirements.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
