Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) – Fairfield, CA
Seeking a new opportunity within a school district? Spindle proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Fairfield, CA in search of a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team for the 2026–2027 school year!
Position Details:
- Discipline: Special Education (Mild/Moderate)
- Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Caseload: Elementary RSP split between two school sites; maximum caseload of 28 students
- Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
- Setting: Elementary Resource Specialist Program (RSP)
Special Education Teacher Job Description:
- Provide specialized academic instruction to elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide targeted instruction and intervention aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student inclusion and academic success
- Maintain accurate special education documentation and compliance
- Support students through accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction
Pay & Benefits:

Requirements:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential (required)
