Bring your expertise and passion for helping students thrive as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher in a contract position with full benefits and weekly pay. This opportunity offers a rewarding chance to support students while working with an engaging and collaborative school community near Daly City, CA.

Utilize your specialized training as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create adaptive physical education programs that accommodate individual needs and promote inclusion. Working full-time, you'll collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to help students achieve both physical and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification (required)
  • Prior experience in school-based environments or with children is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement adaptive programs to support diverse learners

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate adaptive physical education activities tailored to each student's abilities and needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to establish individualized goals and monitor progress
  • Collect and analyze data to measure student outcomes and adjust programs accordingly
  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment that empowers students of all abilities
  • Provide ongoing communication to families and school staff about progress and recommended strategies
