About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a cutting-edge manufacturing environment specializing in MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems) technology and advanced sensing solutions. This role is critical to maintaining facility uptime, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring a safe, compliant production environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting semiconductor, MEMS, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing environments and will bring a strong blend of facilities maintenance, hazardous materials handling, and manufacturing equipment support experience.
\n
This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Facilities, Engineering, Production, and EHS teams.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
Facilities & Building Systems Support
\n
- \n
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and production support systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, pumps, compressors, and facility utilities
- Support facility equipment uptime by responding quickly to maintenance issues and production needs
- Perform inspections, repairs, and improvements within mechanical rooms, production areas, and facility spaces
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and services

Hazardous Materials & Environmental Support
\n
- \n
- Support the safe handling, movement, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and chemicals
- Maintain accurate documentation related to chemical inventory, waste handling, and safety compliance
- Assist with hazardous waste collection, labeling, storage, and disposal processes
- Follow OSHA, EHS, and site safety procedures (additional chemical safety training provided)
- Support environmental systems and compliance activities within the manufacturing facility

Semiconductor / MEMS Equipment Maintenance
\n
- \n
- Support maintenance activities for semiconductor and MEMS manufacturing equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance on fab-related equipment including MEMS processing equipment, steppers, die attach equipment, and other manufacturing tools
- Partner with Engineering and Production teams to reduce equipment downtime and improve manufacturing reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections to support production goals

Required Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a semiconductor, MEMS, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting one or more of the following areas:
- Facilities maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems)
- Hazardous materials handling and disposal
- Semiconductor/MEMS manufacturing equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret equipment documentation, schematics, and maintenance procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and responding to production priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting semiconductor fabrication or MEMS manufacturing environments
- Experience with fab utilities, chemical systems, wastewater systems, or cleanroom operations
- OSHA, hazardous materials, or safety-related certifications
- Experience with equipment such as steppers, die attach, wafer processing, or semiconductor manufacturing tools
