Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California mild/moderate (M/M) Special Education Teaching credential (required)
- Experience with elementary-level special education caseloads
- In-depth knowledge of IEP processes, lesson adaptation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to cultivate a positive and engaging classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support tailored to students with mild/moderate disabilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, related service staff, and families to support student success
- Document and assess student progress, modifying strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
