A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher eager to make a lasting impact with elementary students. This full-time, contract position runs from August 19, 2026, to June 11, 2027, and focuses on teaching a mild/moderate (M/M) caseload in an engaging and supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active California mild/moderate (M/M) Special Education Teaching credential (required)
  • Experience with elementary-level special education caseloads
  • In-depth knowledge of IEP processes, lesson adaptation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to cultivate a positive and engaging classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support tailored to students with mild/moderate disabilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, related service staff, and families to support student success
  • Document and assess student progress, modifying strategies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
