Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in California
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Passion for promoting student independence and success
- Comfortable providing direct therapy and participating in assessments
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted OT interventions to eligible K-12 students as outlined in their educational plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to guide effective service delivery
- Communicate progress with families and school staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school district guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP meetings as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for students with diverse abilities
