JOB SUMMARY: Preparing of manufactured product for either paint, powder coating or shipment. Ability to use hand and power tools to remove sharp edges of metal product, pressure test and prepare it for the final paint stages of manufacturing. Operating a sit down Forklift to relocate, stage and store finished products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Physical and mechanical support activity in the manufacturing plant. • Use of hand and power tools. • Complete simple reports. • Operate forklift for handling materials for production and shipping/receiving. • Repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, climbing, use of hands. • RF Scanners for tracking material usage. • Work areas: o Prep station o Pour station o Pressing wedgewire, manways and spuds o Parts grinding o Shipping/receiving o Cartridge assembly o Paint station • Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and company. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum Education - High School graduate or GED equivalent. • Essential job functions experience, 2+ years. • Previous power hand tool experience, 2+ years. • Previous manufacturing experience, 2+ years. • Previous certified Forklift experience, 2+ years. • Mechanical aptitude and experience, 2+ years. • Lifting: 0-20 lbs unassisted, 50-100 lbs assisted. • Ability and desire to want to grow and be a team player within our organization. • Ability to legally work within the United States. • Ability to speak, read and write in English
