Job Description and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and answering questions or concerns they may have
- Follow established routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrival at each destination
- Complete required paperwork documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a professional, positive image and attitude with regard to clients and people
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with passengers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Basic knowledge of operating wheelchair equipment
Requirements
- Must pass background and drug test
- 18 years of age or older
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Previous experiences with mental and developmental illnesses (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
