Job Title: Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time | Seasonal
Schedule: 1st Shift (Overtime as Needed)
Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker for a local municipality in the Olivehurst area. This is a full-time seasonal opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining parks and public spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with landscaping, irrigation systems, and basic concrete work while helping ensure parks remain clean, safe, and well-maintained for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance.
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems.
- Assist with basic concrete repair and maintenance projects.
- Clean and sanitize park restrooms, playgrounds, picnic areas, and other public facilities.
- Remove litter, debris, and fallen branches throughout park grounds.
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect parks for maintenance needs and report safety concerns.
- Assist with general park improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in park maintenance, landscaping, grounds maintenance, irrigation, or concrete work preferred.
- Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Valid California driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience.
- Full-time seasonal position with overtime opportunities.
