Introduction

Thyseed is a premium baby-feeding brand focused on helping parents through stressful feeding moments with high-quality baby bottles and feeding products. As we build our US business from the ground up, we are looking for a hands-on Marketing & Business Operations Manager to support marketing, HR, and day-to-day business operations.

Professional, working-level Mandarin Chinese speaking and writing ability is required, because this role will work closely with Thyseed’s China-based leadership and operations teams.


Key Responsibilities

HR and Team Operations

  • Coordinate US recruitment, interviews, candidate communication, onboarding, and maintain relevant HR compliance / employee documentation.
  • Manage payroll, benefits, insurance, and other HR needs to ensure California regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain employee records, policies, leave tracking, and required documentation.
  • Support team planning, hiring plans, role development, and performance review processes.
  • Help manage day-to-day employee needs, internal communication, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support communication between the US team and China-based leadership.

Marketing and Channel Development

  • Develop local marketing programs that support brand awareness, parent education, and sales.
  • Prepare online and offline marketing activations, and drive execution of marketing materials, digital campaigns, and offline events.
  • Support the development of local PR/KOLs and content production campaigns, partner marketing, and event executions.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, retail promotions, community activations, and local brand events.
  • Develop co-marketing opportunities with retailers, healthcare professionals, parenting organizations, and complementary brands.
  • Identify and approach suitable offline sales channels, including baby boutiques, specialty retailers, healthcare professionals, lactation centers, parenting organizations, hospitals, and regional distributors.

Admin

  • Track US budgets, expenses, invoices, vendor payments, and major spending items.
  • Coordinate with accountants, payroll providers, banks, vendors, and the China finance team.
  • Coordinate product logistics, warehousing, shipping, and product storage.
  • Monitor inventory levels, inbound shipments, fulfillment issues, returns, replacements, and damaged products.
  • Assist with office, equipment, software, travel, meetings, and other general administrative needs.
  • Support purchase approvals, contracts, insurance, vendor administration, and basic recordkeeping.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, HR operations, business operations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting local marketing, business development, and community activations.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and key HR compliance processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve practical problems.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable handling both external-facing projects and internal administrative work.
  • Professional working-level Mandarin Chinese speaking and writing ability is required.
