Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will:
- Deliver and oversee outpatient care for clinic patients while ensuring quality assurance.
- Provide primary care services to outpatients, which includes conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, determining treatment plans, administering and supervising appropriate treatments, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Engage in and support quality assurance initiatives; supervise patient care professionals, technicians, and other staff members.
- Contribute to quality assurance, quality improvement, and utilization review efforts.
- Offer in-service training to clinic staff to enhance their awareness and improve patient care.
- Assist in developing clinic protocols and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care.
- Participate in utilization and peer review programs that assess the quality of medical staff and services provided at the clinics.
- Provide consultation services to practitioners via telephone as needed.
- Attend and actively engage in both internal and external meetings to enhance patient services.
- Promote professional growth and development by participating in educational programs, reviewing current literature, and attending in-service meetings and workshops.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Valid Medical License in California; board eligible or certified.
- Master's Degree in a relevant medical field.
- Current CPR certification.
- DEA license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Understanding of community health centers, public assistance programs, state and federal regulations, and managed care systems.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel), business email communication, and internet research.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Experience with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records systems, particularly NextGen.
Salary
Hourly Rate: $139.42 - $144.23
Annual Salary for Full-Time: $290,000 - $300,000
