JCS Restoration is a full-service restoration company specializing in contents cleaning, inventory, and storage. We take pride in helping homeowners restore and protect their belongings after property damage. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
This position involves handling, packing, and transporting personal property from homes and businesses affected by damage. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, is highly organized, and takes pride in careful, efficient work. This individual must demonstrate excellent care and attention to detail, maintain warehouse organization, and ensure safe transport of items to and from job sites.
Requirements:
- Must be 25 years of age or older (required for insurance purposes)
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving box trucks (non-CDL)
- Forklift certified
- Warehouse experience — including inventory management, packing, and organizing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle personal property with care
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
- Start each day at the warehouse, prepare for dispatch, and deliver crews, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Safely load, transport, and unload contents from residential and commercial job sites
- Perform accurate and detailed inventory, packing, and labeling of personal property
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and company vehicles
- Follow company safety procedures and best practices (lifting, PPE, etc.)
- Handle all items with care to prevent damage during moving and storage
- Use company software systems (e.g., Encircle, iCat, Dash, Slack) for documentation and communication
- Support team leads and supervisors with daily operational needs
- Conduct yourself with professionalism in all customer and team interactions
