Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Vandenberg, CA
Employment Type: 8 week contract to hire (potential for extension or conversion)
Schedule: 7pm - 5:30am
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation and maintenance performed by third-party contractors
- Maintain and troubleshoot cranes, elevators, mega doors, compressed air systems, and other facility equipment
- Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform repairs
- Coordinate vendors for scheduled and emergency maintenance
- Fabricate or source replacement parts
- Prepare maintenance reports and documentation
- Support HVAC systems during increased operational demand
- Troubleshoot plumbing, compressed air, hydraulic, and electrical system
- Identify and correct potential safety hazards
Requirements:
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Experience maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Ability to read engineering blueprints and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Basic computer and report writing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working with cranes, forklifts, lifts, and industrial equipment
