Club Z! Tutoring of Rancho Cordova is a national in-home and online tutoring company. We take pride in matching tutors with students based on individual needs and qualifications. We need dedicated Tutors/Teachers who would like the opportunity to do what they love - EDUCATE!
Position Summary
In-home tutors will provide focused, individualized learning support to help students strengthen foundational skills, improve comprehension, and build confidence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching learners, adapting instruction to different needs, and tracking progress over time.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured tutoring sessions tailored to students’ skill levels, learning goals, and subject needs

Assess student understanding during sessions and adjust teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes

Support students with homework, practice exercises, and concept reinforcement to strengthen mastery

Maintain clear records of session activities, progress, and areas requiring additional focus

Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress and next steps
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience providing tutoring, mentoring, or instruction to learners

Must be comfortable tutoring students in-home

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently

Ability to create a supportive learning environment

Reliability and professionalism in managing part-time scheduling and session commitments

Must have reliable transportation to travel to the students' location

Experience teaching the subject areas you wish to tutor (i.e. Math, ELA, Science etc.)
