Job Summary
- Support other personnel as required, including (but not limited to): cutting, grinding, cleaning, tacking, etc.
- Lifting 50lb.
- General power tool knowledge (angle grinders, drills, band saw, cold saw).
- Welding (MIG 0.035, Flux Core, Dual Shield 0.045).
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Basic knowledge on how to read a measuring tape.
- 8-hour shift Monday to Friday.
- Material stock check (shipping & receiving).
- Steel profiles & processes knowledge.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Operating overhead crane & rigging.
- Handles paperwork accurately and acquires all signatures per process.
Education
- Minimum education requirement: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a basic understanding of standard power tools and possess the ability to read / follow simple instructions.
- Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work in confined spaces
- Experience in structural steel environment (preferred).
Depending on experience, you earn $20.00 - $22.00/hour.
