Immunizing Nurse – Vaccination Initiative (Seasonal) — $55.75/hour
Location: San Mateo, CA
Pay Rate: $55.75 per hour (W2)
Type: Seasonal
Hours: ~35 hours/week
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday — 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Work Setting: On-site, in-person, patient-facing
Position Overview
A-Line Staffing is hiring a Seasonal Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) to support a retail vaccination initiative. In this role, you’ll administer a variety of vaccines (Flu, COVID, MMR, and others) while providing excellent patient care in a dynamic community healthcare setting. PPE is provided.
Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines (Flu, COVID, MMR, etc.) following clinical guidelines
- Provide patient education and deliver compassionate, high-quality care
- Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare professionals
- Adapt quickly to workflow changes and patient volume
- Collaborate with site staff to support safe, efficient clinic operations
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in California
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience, including immunizations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
