Warwick Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing outpatient orthopedic practice. This position is approximately 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the clinic continues to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in physical therapy, healthcare, or exercise science who enjoys working one-on-one with patients in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized clinic
- Clean equipment between patients
- Assist with patient flow throughout the day
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Assist with administrative and front desk duties
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to every patient
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, or a related field preferred
- Previous physical therapy aide experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours and full-time employment based on clinic growth and performance
Compensation
- $21-25 per hour, depending on experience
