We are currently seeking a Service Writer and Parts Technician to add to our team.
Outline of Duties and Responsibilities
The following is meant to provide a general overview of the essential job functions of this job and is not necessarily a complete and exhaustive list. Your duties for this position will include:
- Adhering to all Cal OSHA, MSHA and California Materials, Inc. safety guidelines at all times.
- Complete Shop Inventory in its entirety.
- Implement bar coding system
- Price checking (at least 3 quotes for anything over 250.00)
- All data entry completed and input daily
- File all DVIR's daily
- Pick up parts as needed
- Maintain parts inventory and pricing
- Ensure mechanics are receiving correct parts
- Clean parts room as needed, paying close attention to areas that present a slip trip or fall safety hazard
- All Shop inputting including, but not limited to:
- Work orders
- Completed work orders
- DVIR's
- Focusing on and improving all vendor relationships to ensure we are receiving the best prices and the best service possible.
