The Plumbing Installer will primarily work on small residential projects, performing installations and maintenance of various plumbing systems. This role requires independence with regular travel between sites and involves reporting directly to the site supervisor. The position offers opportunities for certification advancement, supervisory roles, and cross-training in related trades.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, water filtration, and water softeners
- Perform drywall and basic electrical work related to plumbing installations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards on every job site
- Travel regularly between residential project sites
- Work independently while coordinating progress with the site supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing installation
- Valid plumbing license or certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pipefitting and blueprint reading
- Strong knowledge of water systems and safety compliance
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities
