Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility by start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valuable
- Strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping young learners thrive
- Ability to manage and adapt to a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy that meets each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative guidance to school staff and families
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and communication
