Key Responsibilities:
• Set up the Komori press according to job specifications, including loading paper, adjusting ink levels, and configuring settings.
• Operate the press during production runs, monitoring for quality and making adjustments as needed to maintain print consistency and color accuracy.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks on the press, such as cleaning rollers, lubricating components, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production, such as paper jams or printing defects, and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to prioritize job schedules, coordinate material handling, and meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience operating a Komori or similar offset printing press is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills to set up and maintain press equipment effectively.
• Attention to detail and the ability to monitor print quality closely to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
