Key Qualifications:
- Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or ARRT highly preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular procedures and imaging
- Minimum of one year recent Cath Lab experience, preferably in a variety of settings
- Strong knowledge of cath lab equipment, monitoring, and sterile techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment and ensure optimal image quality
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining protocols and ensuring safety
- Monitor patient vitals and provide direct support throughout examinations
- Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and uphold strict confidentiality protocols
- Contribute to daily quality assurance and process improvements within the department
