We are currently seeking a skilled Electronic Test Technician for a growing manufacturing team!
Schedule: (possible overtime)
Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Friday 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Performing system and board-level testing and troubleshooting of elevator control systems comprised of digital and analog circuits and microprocessor-controlled logic
- Validating control systems to ensure compliance with general functional specifications and contract-specific requirements
- Working in conjunction with the Contract Order Engineering Team to modify control systems as required
- Diagnosing malfunctions of circuitry, components, or parts and determining appropriate repair actions
- Logging failure data, documenting repair results, and preparing required reports
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of education in electrical and electronic principles (Associate degree or equivalent experience and knowledge required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and test parameters
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills related to electronic principles
- Proficiency using multi-meters, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes, and other diagnostic test equipment
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative interpersonal style
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to meet physical job demands and work safely at all times
