AmeriCorp International Group is currently seeking unarmed security officers to become an integral part of our team. This post is for Hanford area (Kings County California) This is for SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY.
Job Duties include the following:
- Monitor facility security cameras.
- Lock and secure doors and gates as needed.
- Enforce policies and procedures.
- Attend to all situations swiftly, logically and appropriately.
- Interact with local authorities: HPD
Job Requirements include the following:
- Must have CA Guard Card
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have smartphone
- Must have prior Customer Service experience.
- Must have prior Security experience.
- Must be able to work Morning, Swing or Graveyard shifts.
- Must be able to work 32-40 hours as needed.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to sit, stand and or walk for up to 8-16 hours.
- Must be able to work immediately
- Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to perform job functions mentally and physically.
- This includes paying attention to detail, close observation, critical thinking, and great communication. Must be able to grab, reach, pull and lift objects that weigh up to 25 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor front and back entrances, controlling employee and customer access.
• Open and close the store in coordination with supervisors.
• Conduct hourly patrols of the property, including trash and perimeter checks.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front of the store during operating hours.
• Escort employees safely off-site at the end of shifts.
