Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Multi Logistics Inc is looking for a reliable and motivated Local CDL Driver to join our team as an Amazon contractor based out of South Gate, CA. Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial vehicle to complete local Amazon contracted delivery routes safely and on schedule
- Load, unload, and verify cargo accuracy prior to departure
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding route updates or delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Amazon contractor guidelines
- Ensure cargo is secured properly and handled with care throughout the delivery process
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required
- Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
- Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
- Previous local delivery or freight driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with the South Gate, CA and greater Los Angeles area a plus
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong time management skills and a dependable, professional attitude
