Step into a meaningful role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment spanning August 14th to November 30th, covering a maternity leave near beautiful Mountain View, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact during the critical start of the school year, working within supportive educational environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for California.
  • School-based SLP experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educators and families.
  • Provide evidence-based, individualized therapy for identified students.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster communication development in classrooms.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning.
  • Offer guidance and support to faculty related to speech and language concerns.
