Step into a meaningful role as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract assignment spanning August 14th to November 30th, covering a maternity leave near beautiful Mountain View, CA. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- State licensure (or eligibility) for California.
- School-based SLP experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educators and families.
- Provide evidence-based, individualized therapy for identified students.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster communication development in classrooms.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning.
- Offer guidance and support to faculty related to speech and language concerns.
