Desired Experience and Skills:
- Current or pending licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, school-based settings, or healthcare environments
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or eligible SLP-CFY candidates strongly encouraged
- Proficiency providing teletherapy and in-person services
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized therapy plans
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary education teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) related to speech and language targets
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services across a variety of modalities, including teletherapy
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and school-based team collaborations
