Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite role spans the school year from August through early June, supporting elementary-level students in a vibrant, collaborative environment near San Jose, CA. You’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact by either serving one campus exclusively or offering much-needed expertise across two campuses, tailored to the district's needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a current California Speech Language Pathologist license or CA Educator Certification
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in school settings, with a focus on elementary-aged children, is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to differing caseloads and campus environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy for students with diverse needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student goals are met
  • Provide direct services and consultative support as needed across assigned campuses
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
