We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to lead and manage pre‑litigation personal injury cases. This role focuses heavily on case evaluation, demand approval, strategic negotiation, and oversight of pre‑litigation teams to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and the firm. The ideal candidate is a confident negotiator with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of resolving personal injury cases efficiently and effectively before litigation.
Compensation:
$110,000 - $125,000 with bonus structure
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and resolve pre‑litigation personal injury claims with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Review, evaluate, and approve settlement demands for accuracy, strategy, and value
- Provide guidance and oversight to pre‑litigation case managers and support staff
- Monitor case progress to ensure timely resolution and compliance with firm standards
- Evaluate liability, damages, and medical records to maximize case value
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies tailored to each case
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, settlement offers, and expectations
- Ensure ethical, professional, and client-centered representation at all times
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and a J.D degree are required
- State Bar Association membership and a state license to practice law are mandatory
- 3+ years of personal injury experience, with a strong emphasis on pre‑litigation matters
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Experience approving demands and mentoring staff
