Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Employment Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates for a variety of positions. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruiting database
- Build relationships with local organizations, workforce agencies, and veteran employment programs
- Prepare and post job advertisements for open positions
- Verify employment eligibility, background information, and references when required
- Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the hiring process
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Meet recruiting goals and hiring deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, HR, sales, or military leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Docs and email systems
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
