Schedule: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Monday – Friday

Job Description
The Double Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a double reach forklift to move, store, retrieve, and stage products within a warehouse environment. This position requires working in narrow aisles and high-bay racking while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience operating stand-up double reach equipment and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace.

Essential Job Duties

  • Operate a stand-up double reach forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Retrieve, transport, and store pallets in high-bay racking systems.
  • Perform put-away, replenishment, and order picking functions.
  • Load and unload trailers when required.
  • Accurately scan inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Verify product quantities, locations, and labels before moving inventory.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper product handling and scanning procedures.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Keep warehouse aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a double reach forklift (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a sit down forklift (required)
  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience.
  • Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in narrow aisles and at elevated heights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights while operating warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.


Work Environment

  • Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center.
  • Exposure to moving forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.
  • May require overtime, weekends, or flexible scheduling based on business needs.
